Great for the occassional item that has a few wrinkles. Not for heavy duty use.

The Proctor Silex 17410 Iron is indeed very lightweight, heats up quickly, gives off grundels of steam. It could use an easier to read control dial, but that isn't a major issue. I especially like the pivoting cord feature. I'd say that for the price it is an excellent value.

Nice iron for the price

This iron is nice for the price. It does squirt water a little strangely and the buttons are a little difficult to move. I end up just unplugging it rather than fooling with the dial to turn it off. However, I still think it was worth the cost. It does the job.

Fantastic Product

This is a fantastic product. It is better than any iron I have owned. It is actually better than those more expensive models that really do not do anymore than this handy Proctor Silex.
